The founder of Pet Ppl was looking for the right development partner to build and launch her pet industry startup platform. An experienced founder of tech platforms and designer, she sought a fully custom solution to make her vision come to life using scalable modern tech tools.
Outcome:
I planned and developed the Pet Ppl web application from back-end to front-end with an eye toward future growth. For lightweight speed and a scalable pricing structure, I chose to build the entire backend with Firebase. This allowed for a speedier development process without driving up investment costs.
On the front-end, I favored tools with a robust ecosystem, using Next.js, Tailwind, and choosing to build custom components from scratch. Each tool was carefully chosen to both make sure it was right for the job and that it would be familiar to any developers working on the project after me.
This networking membership platform is full of fully custom features, pages, and views, including job postings with one-click job, private messaging, custom profiles, and a robust discovery system for connecting with other users and brands.
