About Me

I’m a full-stack JavaScript engineer with a passion for building systems that seek to enrich and have a positive impact on the user. I love JavaScript for its versatility, malleability, and quirkiness. My experiences as a lifelong writer may explain my interest in picking apart syntax and studying unique qualities. That love of sleuthing may also explain why, for me, it was love at first var with JavaScript.

I’m a voracious learner and enthusiastic about any opportunity to solve a complex problem. In short, I just like building cool stuff and things that fill a need.

If I'm not coding I'm probably busy...:

Trying to reclaim the passion for writing
Reading - currently mostly self-improvement, fiction or history
Finding, but forgetting to read interesting articles
Attempting to meditate (OR meditating on meditation, which sounds better)
Watching a classic (or new classic) film

Skills and Strengths

I've done everything from building static sites and marketing landing pages to creating complex web apps from scratch. Below is a list of what I do most often, but anyone I've worked with can tell you; one of my superpowers is the ability to pick anything up and start contributing quickly.
